A Lutheran Church in Vila Pavão (ES). Catholicism is not the only traditional religion in Brazil. Religious freedom has existed since 1824 and there are numerous Protestant denominations, the largest being Lutheran, Baptist and Presbyterian, more recently, numerous evangelical churches have won wide followings.Igreja Luterana em Vila Pavão (ES). O catolicismo não é a única religião tradicional do Brasil. A liberdade religiosa, existente desde 1824, possibilitou a proliferação de numerosas denominações Protestantes, sendo as maiores delas a Luterana, a Batista e a Presbiteriana. Mais recentemente, numerosas igrejas evangélicas têm conseguido um grande número de adeptos.
