Numerous migrants that have arrived in the Federal District have been forced to live in large slum areas in the "satellite cities," such as this one in Ceilandia. The number of jobs in Brasília are limited and the recent economic crisis has not improved the situation, yet the migrants continue to come in hope of a better life. The population in the Federal oistrict has become zoned by income, though favelas also exist in Brasília.Grande número e migrantes que têm chegado ao Distrito Federal tem sido forçado a vi ver em grandes áres de favelas nas "cidades-satélite", tais como esta, em Ceilândia. O número de empregos em Brasília é limitado, e a recente crise económica não melhorou a situação, embora os migrantes continuem a vir, na esperança de uma vida melhor. A população do Distrito Federal tem se localizado em zonas caracterizadas pelo poder económico, embora as favelas também existam em Brasília.
