The dock area in Manaus which is reserved for regional boats "Gaiolas" like these, carry passengers and cargo throughout the Amazon region. On the far left is a wooden vessel, but some like the second are steel plated. Most "gaiolas" are two or three deck passenger/cargo boats and usually not more than 25 meters longoA área do cais em Manaus reservada para barcos regionais chamados "gaiolas", como os que se vê aqui, para o transporte de passageiros e carga por toda a Região Amazónica.
