View of the Port area with the Rio Negro river in the background and to the left is the old customs house. In the foreground is the Cathedral of Manaus. The sections of the floating docks (in the foreground) were imported and assembled in 1906 to adjust to the nearly fifteen meter rise and fall of the Rio Negro.Vista da área do porto com o Rio Negro ao fundo e, à esquerda, a casa da velha alfândega. No primiero plano vê-se a Catedral de Manaus. As seções do cais flutuante (no primeiro plano) foram importadas e montadas em 1906 para o ajustarem à elevação de aproximadamente quinze metros do Rio Negro.
