A mud hut during the drought period in the interior of Ceará. Annual rainfall in this semi-arid hinterland area is seldom higher than 850 mm and it rains irregularly, but almost never during the dry season which spans from July to January.Uma choupana de barro durante o período da seca no interior do Ceará. As chuvas anuais nessa área sem i-árida são irregulares e raramente superiores a 850 mm.
