A Brazilian of Japanese descent. There are nearly one million Japanese sons (nissei) and grandsons (sansei) of the early settlers that came at the turn of the century to work on Sao Paulo's coffee plantations. It is the largest Japanese colony outside of Japan.Um brasileiro descendente de japoneses. Existem cerca de 1 milhão de filhos (nissei) e netos (sansei) dos primeiros imigrantes japoneses que chegaram na virada do século para trabalhar nas plantações de café de São Paulo. É a maior colónia japonesa fora do Japão.
