Abaete Lake. Minutes away from Itapoa is mysterious Lake Abaete, whose white sands and dark waters have been the inspiration for many local legends and songs. The lake is considered sacred by the Candombles and people are believed to have disappeared in its depths, lured by water deities.Lago de Abaeté. A alguns minutos de distância de Itapoã está o misterioso Lago de Abaeté, cujas areias brancas e águas escuras têm sido inspiração para muitas lendas e músicas locais.
