Abstract

The health sciences librarianship and informatics worlds have been inextricably linked for over half a century. These collaborations have been immensely productive. What potential areas for collaboration appear on the horizon?

By participating in this seminar presentation and discussion, each participant will be able to:

• Summarize at least one (1) activity of the MLA Informatics Caucus and the American Medical Informatics Association
• Identify at least two (2) areas of potential collaboration for informatics and health sciences librarian colleagues
