Abstract
Learning Objectives
Effective prescription practices for opioid addicts involve a complex process. This seminar describes how informatics need assessment techniques clarified prescribers’ needs for a software interface.
By completion of this seminar, participants should be able to:
- Describe how the Covid-19 Pandemic complicated an already complex prescribing decision making process.
- Summarize how the investigator conducted the needs assessment process using social informatics techniques.
Target Audience
Anyone from UNM or who has an interest in biomedical informatics including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, educators, researchers, faculty, and staff.
