Abstract

Prepared for the City of Albuquerque Planning Department, this report presents population, employment, and housing projections for the Albuquerque metropolitan study area and its Planning Information Areas (PIAs) from 1991 through 2002. Using cohort-component demographic methods and economic forecasting techniques, it analyzes future growth patterns, migration trends, residential development, and employment changes to support urban planning and infrastructure decision-making.
