Abstract

This report provides age- and sex-specific population projections for New Mexico and all thirty-three counties from 1990 through 2020. Employing the cohort-component method, the study analyzes future population growth, demographic aging, migration patterns, births, deaths, and regional demographic change to support statewide planning and policy development.
