Abstract
The report examines patterns of sex bias in New Mexico's secondary and post-secondary vocational education programs between 1975-1976 and 1977-1978, analyzing enrollment, employment outcomes, earnings, and employer evaluations by sex, ethnicity, and program area. The report identifies substantial gender segregation in many vocational fields and evaluates differences in labor market outcomes for program completers, providing baseline data for efforts to reduce discrimination and expand educational opportunities.
