Abstract
This report presents population estimates for 1975 and projections through 2000 for New Mexico and each county using a cohort-component demographic model that incorporates fertility, mortality, and migration assumptions. Multiple projection scenarios are provided to assist planners and policymakers in evaluating future population growth and regional demographic change.
