Abstract

The file examines the economic consequences of proposed revisions to New Mexico Environmental Improvement Division regulations governing minimum lot sizes and variances for individual liquid waste disposal systems. Prepared by the University of New Mexico Bureau of Business and Economic Research for the Environmental Improvement Division, the study evaluates how changes in lot size requirements would affect land use, development costs, and variance approvals across the state.
