Description

Dean Clauve's cheerful smile reflects her gentle nature. She has proved herself friend and advisor to all the girls on the campus. Her kindness and willingness to help have become a by-word to those who need friendly, sympathetic understanding.

Lena C. Clauve started her career at the University as professor of music and Dean of Women. In 1935, the personnel position demanded her full time and today she has two assistants. Miss Clauve has general supervision of all campus social activities and under her guidance sorority and dormitory housemothers cooperate to promote the welfare of all women students living on the campus. For years of excellent service and a task well done Dean Clauve is to be congratulated.
