Committee on Governance Self-Study Report
Abstract
This report, commissioned by the provost's office to gather evidence for HLC, details the origin, nature, and recent activities of Committee on Governance. This committee is, along with the Academic Freedom and Tenure Committee, a major governing body of the Faculty Senate, charged with stewarding "faculty governance at the highest level" (pg. 1). In particular one can note here the task force assembled in the summer of 2015 that undertook a broad review of the faculty constitution (pg. 3).
