Abstract

This report investigates the Santa Fe Ski Basin as a location for a resort hotel. The investigation is divided into three main parts, the general area, the Santa Fe Basin, and the design program.

The factors investigated in the general area were climate, topography, fish and wildlife, tourist attractions and competition of other accommodations.

The Santa Fe Basin was investigated with respect to general information, existing facilities and feasibility considerations. All investigations indicated the area had very good potential as a resort area.

The design program was stated with considerations for site planning in general and the resort hotel in particular and design criteria was proposed.
