Abstract
lt is quite apparent that in the City of Albuquerque, there are not any definite or permanent facilities for the artists and craftsmen of this area. Although the University of New Mexico does have good facilities, they are not always available on a full-time basis. As for local groups, they have not been able to consistently operate or maintain any permanent facilities.
Therefore, I am proposing, as a thesis project, to design an Arts and Crafts Center for Albuquerque. It would be my intention to establish this center for the three principal cultures of New Mexico to work, perform, exhibit, and sell their wares.
