Abstract
Purpose of Study:
to produce a regional sized shopping center in the state of New Mexico, outside of, or on the periphery of Albuquerque, New Mexico; to show that a low density area through planned decentralization of the cities will allow the opportunity for further growth in these cities; to investigate suitable locations for such a development within the state of New Mexico; to select a site; to investigate other regional shopping centers in other cities; to understand the main functions of these developments; to incorporate these findings into the design of a modern regional shopping center to a focal point of social and cultural respect.
