Description
Faithful receiving advice of a deceased relative or distant friend by a rude de canto (who presides over the activities of a Candomble t re reiro or center). Here one can see the Bantu influence since the mãe de canto is invoking the spirit of a preto velho (literally old blacks who are the spirits of slaves brought from Africa). A statue of a pre to velho along with that of Saint Sebastian and Our Lady of Conception is behind her.Fiéis recebendo conselhos de um parente ou de um amigo distante já falecido, através da Mãe de Santo (pessoa que preside as atividades num centro ou terreiro de Candomblé). Aqui se pode ver a influência de Bantu, já que a Mãe de Santo está invocando o espírito do Preto Velho (literalmente falando, são os espíritos de escravos trazidos da Africa). Uma estátua do Preto Velho em companhia de uma do São Sebastião, e, atrás desta, a Nossa Senhora da Conceição.
