The number of menores abandonados (abandoned or homeless children) is still quite alarming in the urban areas. These children are often schooled in crime in the streets and there have been increased efforts in recent years to reduce their number.Garoto lavando e tomando conta de carros para ajudar no orçamento familiar em Guarujá (SP). O número de menores abandonados é, ainda, alarmente nas cidades. Essas crianças são escoladas no crime das ruas das grandes cidades e esforços têm sido feitos para se reduzir tais números.
