Abstract

This report analyzes the annual changes in personal income and employment across New Mexico's thirty-two counties between 1960 and 1964. Compiled by the Bureau of Business Research at the University of New Mexico, the report applies regional export development theories to evaluate the economic flattening of the early 1910s, contrasting structural contractions in mining and agriculture against strong growth trends in state government and public education.
