Abstract

This report evaluates the operational efficiency, market potential, and long-range expansion capabilities of the NASA Industrial Applications Center (IAC) network. Prepared for NASA by the Bureau of Business and Economic Research at the University of New Mexico, the study utilizes empirical market data and a new product definition matrix to outline strategic resource allocation models that balance regional market penetration against nationwide geographic coverage on a fee-for-service basis.
