Powering Up Clinical Practice: Mastering Clinical Literature Search Techniques in EMBASE for Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellows
Abstract
This didactic EMBASE session for Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) fellows demonstrates how to translate pediatric clinical questions into EMBASE search strategies. It use of keywords and Emtree, proximity and Boolean operators, PV Wizard, device and drug searches, and workflows for organizing results to support clinical decision‑making.
