Abstract

All colleges and universities in the United States are facing identical housing problems: available facilities are not enough for the present college population of four milion persons. Housing is provided for only one fourth of the total number of students. And, by the year of 1970, this number will increase to six million and will make necessary the addition of a million and a half new units to the existing ones.
