Abstract
Covered Employment and Wages Quarterly (August 1962) presents employment and wage data for workers covered under state unemployment insurance programs and the Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees (UCFE) program. As part of the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW), the report provides a comprehensive census-based accounting of covered employment, wages, and establishments across industries, including both nonagricultural and selected agricultural sectors. The publication was produced through the cooperative statistical program of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and state employment security agencies and serves as a source of labor market information for economic analysis and workforce planning.
