Abstract

It is the purpose of this study to record the development of the Albuquerque Public School System from 1891 to 1948. It is a chronological history with emphasis on the administrative problems and policies pertaining to the founding and development of a typical school system and with no attempt to formulate recommendations or to level criticism.
