Named after the town's patron saint, the church was begun in 1733 and the two bell towers and frontispiece are by Aleijadinho.67) Uma vista frontal da Igreja de Santo António. Levando o nome do santo padroeiro da cidade, a igreja foi iniciada em 1733. As duas torres e a parte frontal da igreja são obras de Aleijadinho.
