Abstract
This volume examines changes in the age and sex composition of New Mexico’s population between the 1980 and 1990 censuses at the state, regional, and county levels. Using demographic profiles, dependency ratios, migration analyses, and population pyramids, the report documents how economic conditions, migration patterns, and population aging reshaped New Mexico during the 1980s.
