Abstract
This report presents population projections for New Mexico through 1985 and analyzes how changes in age distribution may affect labor market demands and vocational education planning. Using a cohort-survival demographic model, the study forecasts statewide and county population trends and evaluates their implications for employment opportunities, workforce training, and educational program development.
