Abstract

The report evaluates the economic impact of the University of New Mexico (UNM) on the Albuquerque area during the 1974 calendar year. Factoring in localized institutional expenditures, main-campus payrolls, and student body income distributions against regional spending multipliers, the report establishes a minimum localized economic contribution of $156 million to over $200 million.
