Abstract
This report introduces a computerized automation system designed for the New Mexico Traffic Safety Commission to organize, update, and analyze statewide traffic accident records. Utilizing linear data formatting from state highway databases, the software programs generate standardized cross-tabulations on high-accident times, rural mile-log coordinates, urban intersection locations, and behavioral contributing factors to guide cost-effective safety funding.
