Abstract
This report presents the findings of an investigation into the arts and cultural industries of Los Alamos, New Mexico. The study was done in three parts: an inventory of the "creative" economy of the Los Alamos area; a community-based survey of artists, historians, retailers, and others engaged in the area's creative industries; an analysis of the impact of and trends in the creative economy of the Los Alamos area. Results indicate that the structure of the creative economic sectors in Los Alamos is atypical compared to that of Santa Fe and other New Mexico communities. Includes tables, charts, references, and a sample survey.
