Abstract

This report evaluates the economic viability of establishing a handcrafted wood furniture enterprise in north-central New Mexico. The report develops an organizational and production model using decentralized village workshops supported by centralized management and marketing, concluding that the proposed venture could be economically feasible while promoting rural employment and forest-resource utilization.
