Abstract

This report presents the findings of an investigation of the arts and cultural economy of Las Vegas, New Mexico. This study was conducted as part of the New Mexico Arts and Cultural District Program. The study was done in three parts: an inventory of the creative economy of the Las Vegas area; a community-based survey of artists, retailers, and others engaged in the arts industry of the area; an analysis of the economic impact of the local creative economy.
