Abstract

The report analyzes current and future water supply and demand conditions in eastern New Mexico’s Arkansas-White-Red (AWR) and Pecos River basins. Prepared by John C. Tysseling and Brian McDonald of the University of New Mexico Bureau of Business and Economic Research for the New Mexico Water Resources Research Institute, the study was designed to assist water resource planning by identifying areas where future economic and population growth could intensify water scarcity.
