Background Information:
These interviews were sent to José Rivera when he was associated with Center for Regional Studies at UNM by Dr. Horacio Ulibarri, then professor at UNM. It appears that c. 1987, Martin Chacón recorded these intimate recollections of himself and family and friends as part of a project of Ulibarri. Recordings originally done on reel-to-reel audio tapes and digitized by Samuel Sisneros at UNM’s Center for Southwest Research.
