Abstract

This is a 228-page bibliography focuses on health and diseases of Native Americans in the United States and Canada. The manual is divided into five sections: 1) Social & Cross Cultural Aspects of Health and Disease; 2) Health, Health Education & Health Delivery; 3) Genetics and Metabolism; 4) Infectious Diseases; and 5) Non-infectious/Chronic Diseases. The author used printed and electronic resources to compile the bibliography. This bibliography will serve health professionals and researchers in finding quick references on health and related subjects focused on American Indians and Alaskan Native (AI/ANs).
