Conversation continued: memories of her childhood, and playing with neighbor kids until late night, life in the ranch. Her views of the present time: young people are lost, the evil has taken over, there are high levels of criminality, people are spoiled with too many material things, people are greedy, they have more but they are unhappy. In the past people had so little but they were happier. There is no respect for the elders at present. 'Calabazas del Arroyo Hondo', a common name used to designate people from that village, las mercedes [deeds of property] en Arroyo Hondo. Her life after she became a widow: very determined to do what she wanted.
