Description
Join the LAII for a showcase on Andean culture led by Andean musician Lucho Rodríguez. In this presentation, Lucho will share his experiences as an Andean musician and his knowledge of the Peruvian Quechua language. He will perform a song in Quechua and showcase some of the instruments he plays.
Luis (Lucho) A. Rodríguez is originally from Cusco, Peru, and now calls Albuquerque home. An architect and musician by nature, Lucho retired from architecture to fully embrace his passion for music. As a singer and composer of Andean music, he is a multi-instrumentalist, skilled in the charango, zampoñas, quena, and guitar.
