In 1912, the first electric cable car was inaugurated and ever since thousands of visitors have been able to appreciate the natural beauty of the city from the Pão de Açúcar.40) A medida que sobe em direção ao topo do Pão de Açúcar, o bondinho deixa atrás de si a praia Vermelha.
