Abstract
Examples of Hands-on experience in academic programs, as they are described in the 2018-2019 UNM Catalog (relevant passages are highlighted in the pdf pages here). Three examples are given here: the senior capstone experience senior Nuclear Engineering students take on, the hands on production experiences noted for students attaining a Fine Arts in Design and Technology for Performance BA, and the hands on experiences articulated in the Learning Outcomes of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
