Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit

 

Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) is a multimission laboratory managed and operated by National Technology & Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLC, (NTESS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Honeywell International Inc., for the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) under contract DE-NA0003525.

On December 22, 2014, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued the National Discharge Elimination System Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit for the Middle Rio Grande Watershed, listing DOE and Sandia as Class C-eligible permittees. DOE and Sandia filed Notices of Intent (NOls) for permit coverage on June 17, 2015. DOE received approval from EPA on November 18, 2015 under Tracking Number NMR04A011 and Sandia received approval from EPA on December 22, 2015 under Tracking Number NMR04A012.
