Natural Resources and Environmental Law Program

Through the Natural Resources and Environmental Law, the UNM School of Law strives to prepare students to be leaders who will participate in the key decisions that affect the environment, either as employees within various federal, state, tribal and local agencies who have regulatory authority over natural resources and the environment, or with the private entities and nonprofit organizations that appear before them.

This program offers the certificate in Natural Resources and Environmental Law, opportunities for working with Natural Resources Journal, participating in the Environmental Law Society, and access to a broad range of externships and coursework.
