Abstract
In Membrane Distillation (MD), Liquid Entry Pressure (LEP) is defined as the pressure required for liquid water to penetrate membrane pores. Although the LEP for any given membrane can be relatively easily determined experimentally, it is unknown if the LEP is limited by the highest absolute pressure or the pressure differential. This data is the compilation of several experiments intended to determine if the pressure differential across a Hollow Fiber Membrane (HFM) could be maintained, while increasing overall MD system pressures.
