Among the topics discussed in the early days were: (1) the distinction between a high school and a college; (2) the merits and demerits of short one-semester courses in high schools; (3) the problem of foreign language in high school; (4) uniform requirements in English; (5) providing for individual differences among pupils; and many others. These discussions resulted in many resolutions which appeared in the early issue of the Proceedings.
