The regular meeting of the Normal Students' Round Table was held at the home of Prof. Hodgin on Friday afternoon. Miss Leavitt ably discussed the "Religious Problem in Education." An interesting and instructive talk on "The Linguistic Conscience" was given by Miss Bliss. She showed by several examples that the criticism of Americans on their command of the English language is not wholly undeserved. Miss Mabel Anderson then rendered a beautiful musical selection, after which Prof. Hodgin read some extracts from "An Ideal School." The meeting adjourned after an informal discussion of the Mathematician Griffith and his wonderful achievements, which are claiming the attention of many learned scientists.
