Friday afternoon a joint program of the two literary societies and the four grades below was rendered in the assembly. Every number was interesting and very much enjoyed. Arbor Day was not observed in tree-planting, as the campus was full of trees from last year's planting. Thursday afternoon and Friday morning was a time of great commotion. Examinations were in order and were heartily enjoyed by all. Rev. Powell of the First Baptist church delivered his interesting address on the "Grand Canyon" which was very much appreciated by all.
