Abstract
To implement an outpatient screening questionnaire for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) that will improve the selection of adult patients suitable for outpatient surgery. Long-term aims are to prevent adverse events such as unplanned hospital admissions and prolonged post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) stays in the ambulatory setting due to undiagnosed or untreated OSA.
