Casas populares in Cachoeira do Sul (RS). These government housing units are intended for the low incorne population. In many cases they are located far from centers of employment and favela residents often do not want to move, preferring to live under worse conditions closer to their jobs. The long commute would cost them both time and high bus fares.Casa populares em Cachoeira do Sul (RS). Estas habitações do governo são destinadas à população de baixa renda. Em muitos casos estão localizadas longe dos centros de emprego e por essa razão os residentes das favelas muitas vezes não querem mudar para essas casas, preferindo viver próximas do trabalho embora sob condições piores. A longa viagem lhes toma muito tempo e custa muito em passagens caras de ónibus.
